Do you heat up the meat or leave it cold?
Do you toast the bread or have it soft? Do you put anything else on it? Condiments/veggies/cheese? |

Warm meatloaf
Untoasted bread No condiments or toppings except some mayonnaise |
|
I warm the meatloaf a little-so its not hot, but not cold either.
I like toasted bread. Add a little ketchup. |
| Toasted bread, warm meatloaf, with mayo. Sometimes I add a cheddar cheese slice. |
|
Prefer toasted bread and warm meatloaf, I spread my meatloaf with a tomato sauce mixture before I bake it so I don't use mayo. I'm o.k. with meatloaf on untoasted bread.
I do not like cold meatloaf sandwiches - yuck. |
| Since I normally make a brown gravy with my meatloaf (my wife does not like ketchup so I don't do any of the ketchup based meatloaves), I like to put a slice of meatloaf in the microwave, put a spoonful of gravy on it, heat it lightly so that it is warm and the gravy just starts to melt and then put it between bread. Just warm enough and gravy just liquidy enough to eat, but better than cold and paste-like. |
| cold on toast with mustard |
| I like to pan fry the meatloaf a little bit to get it a touch crunchy before putting it in the sandwich with mustard. |
| Cold or slightly warmed on toasted bread with ketchup or sriacha (for a kick). |
