Places to eat on UMD campus or nearby

Anonymous
I'm taking my kids to the women's soccer game tonight at UMD College Park. We need to be there at 6:30 for various logistical reasons and I was wondering if anyone knows whether there are concession stands at ludwig field? I tried to look it up but couldn't find any info other than what food options are available generally on campus. Any thoughts/advice? It would be challenging for me to leave work early enough to pick up my kids from aftercare, bring them home for dinner, and still make it there on time so I was hoping to just be able to get them a hot dog or something at the game but I recognize this isn't RFK or national's stadium. Thanks!

Noodles and Potbelly are close and have easy parking. if you don't want a chain, fishnet is near there and very good.

Thank you! Are noodles and potbelly close enough that I could park at Ludwig and walk over to eat? I just know we'll be cutting it close, and my kids are slow eaters.

Its decent walk. You might to stop and pick it up before heading to campus. Otherwise, the student union is a quick walk from the field, with many food options.

I've never been to the stadium but there are tons of places to eat in College Park.
Jason's Deli
Plato's Diner
Applebee's
Potbelly
Bobby's Burger Palace
Jimmy John's subs
Burger King
Taco Bell

And a ton of other non chain places.

Just drive down rt.1

Thanks! Does anyone know if you can bring food into the stadium? that would be ideal if we could just grab something on route 1 and then eat it while watching the game.
