Playgrounds in Germantown area with rubber mat instead of wood chips?

DB is 9 m/o, crawling and pulling up. She wants to eat the wood chips. Where can we go?

Why not take her to an indoor play area like at a mall?

Closer to Germantown, Montgomery Mall has an indoor playspace. Also, Falls Road playground in Potomac is all rubber surface, no woodchips, with lots of crawl-able equipment.

Lake Forest has a new playground now, down by JC Penny's. It's a little small (esp compared to the old one), but quite nice for a mall playground. Would be good for a crawler too.

Really? Thank goodness. That place was nas-teeeeee, and in desparate need of refurbishing!

Outdoors at Rio around the lake, there is a playground that has the rubber flooring. Not sure off the top of my head if there are baby swings or anything appropriate for a 9 month old. But she can always crawl around there and then go for a stroller ride around the lake, see the ducks, etc.

OP: Thanks for all the great ideas!
