The WaPo previously reported the DOF/FBI were searching for nuclear information. It was the ONLY news source to say so.

I believe they sat on it for this long to allow the Biden administration to do its own investigation and signal to WaPo what it could disclose today.

Also, it does not seem like a coincidence that this would leak right when that judge made her partisan pronouncements. It makes her look very stupid and brings further gravitas to the DOJ investigation.

They've been playing it straight and it's been brilliant so far. It's reminiscent of how they've been playin Putin on Ukraine. Maybe it's just the hopium but they seem to have a plan to stay calm, call every bluff, and goad Trump and his enablers into self-owns.

I'm glad to hear it. I shared it an hour ago, and no one has commented. At all. I posted some family news yesterday and people commented within minutes. And I have a have a mix of liberal and conservative friends. I think many people are just worn out by him or in deep, deep, denial.

I realize that I’m repeating myself here (although over 220+ pages, that’s not the worst thing) but the reason people are worn out or in deep denial is because the corporate media just flat out refuses to do their damn job here. They’re still covering for the GOP, still claiming false equivalencies, still treating this like it’s some dramatic but cute story and not the GOP forking over the country and all our relationships. Gasbag Republicans are still whining that Biden has “messed up our foreign relationships” and that statement gets yessed and +1’d by fellow idiots who are never told the truth.

It's not like they were our *own*, US secrets, anyhow. Just some other country's.

If they cared so much about their national security, they should never have let us learn about their nuclear capacity.
