good colors for office paint

I'm getting my office painted at work. The furniture is standard ugly "modern" office furniture. Light wood laminate and beige metal file cabinets. Normally I'd go with a soft neutral but it will just blend in with the furniture. My grey samples look blah.

Any recommendations? I cool with color but it needs to be a calm space.

I have read that lavenders are calming. There are some out there with tones of gray that are not too feminine for an office.

I would go with a non industrial light blue/purple.
