Canning jars - where do you get them?

Looking for suggestions on where to buy canning jars. A friend didn't have a good experience with her amazon order so I am looking for a local store.

| Most of the craft stores, Walmart, and target. Just ask otherwise you will be walking around looking for them. Target had three sizes and it a small display, so hard to find. |

strosniders has them for sure. They even do canning classes sometimes.
I have even bought them in supermarkets (but not in DC). Or you can buy the Ball jars on Amazon. |
