I heard certain brands are tap! Which ones do you trust? |
None! I use a Brita filter at home and fill up a stainless steel water bottle each day to take with me. We have a filter at work so I use the tap to refill there also. It's cheaper, better for the environment, and I know where it comes from. Sigg and Klean Kanteen make some good stainless water bottles if you are interested. |
I really like Fiji or Fuji bottled water but we have been trying to get away from the bottles and use a filter. Less plastic to recycle and the toddler is still getting the flouride. |
Glaceau Smartwater |
Brita filters don't produce clean water. Read the label. They eliminate chlorine taste (not chlorine) or lead odors (not lead) or something along those lines. |
I like Smartwater too, but I can't comment on its quality. Tastes good though! |
if the bottle says "filtered" water, it's tap. |
Crystal Springs. It really comes from a spring in Pennsylvania. Other than getting it delivered, you can buy it by the case at home depot.
I get mine delivered in five gallon jugs and bring my own water bottles with me everywhere. It is much greener than using lots of little bottles. |
Here is the link to the website. The filter reduces cholorine taste and odor, otherwise it reduces the actual impurity. http://www.brita.com/index_us.html They also currently have a coupon on the website. |
YEs, you have to choose ones that actually say "spring water" otehrwise it is just filtered tap water...We're out of the country right now, but used to buy either Deer Park of Whole Foods 365 - both "tasted" clean and fresh... |
