St. John's Transportation from VA?

Hi

We are still a couple of years away from looking at high schools but does St. John's have transportation from VA specifically Alexandria? I think we would like to look at this school but the logistics are a challenge.

I have heard that the Heights may have a bus from Old Town.

The Heights has a bus from Old Town AND also from Ft Hunt further down the GW Pkwy. They make it really easy for VA families to consider the school.

Really? I live ~ 5 blocks from St Johns. The thought of putting my son on a bus twice a day and sending him to burgundy farm or episcopal (were it a day school) strikes me as cruel.

Is this a sports thing? SJC has power teams or something they don't have an hour away (rush hour traffic) in va?

It's high school please it's a 20 minute ride..yawn on the drama.

It's not a 20 minute ride in traffic, it's about 40 minutes because you can't use rock creek parkway and Connecticut and 16th are both using extra lanes headed the opposite way. Both morning and after school.

It is not even close to to 40 minutes you clearly don't drive from VA often. In any event, the kids who go to our local school are on their bus route for 45 minute..go figure.
