S/O Women: What catches your eye in terms of men's attire?

Anonymous
Alright ladies, what items of clothing or accessories to you notice first on a well-dressed man? Nice shoes? Nice Watch? Tie? certain types of shirts/pants/fits/patterns/colours?

TIA

Sports jacket.

Clean nails, ironed, non-stained clothing, good fit (pants not too short and not sliding off the guy's ass), decent shoes. The shoes can be under $100, but they can't be falling apart with holes.

The ultimate "Hot Airplane Guy" is a guy wearing dress shoes, dark-wash jeans, a plain v-neck t-shirt (basically any color OTHER than white), and a sports jacket.

Not that I met my husband on an airplane and that's what he was wearing or anything ...

Is this what you think about when you rub one out?

I love how skinny downtown guys in NY, etc are foregoing suits for super classy fancy button down with cufflinks, sometimes with a monogram or logo on the sleeve. I know it is a look, I am not sure what to call it. It is like they are dressed more casually than the classic "black suit" but it looks much dressier, more stylish, and very sexy.

paired with jeans or slacks?

I always thought it was a faux-pas to wear cufflinks without a jacket.

Any kind of tshirt is nasty. So are tight oxfords.

I appreciate outside the box tie choices that don't come off as inappropriate or trying too hard. And I love it when I can smell a man's cologne. Working in a conservative office environment, almost no one wears it anymore, for good reason. I'm really glad I don't have to smell women's perfume. But I sure don't mind a little bit of a really good masculine scent.

I'm just the opposite. Men's cologne puts me off. Allergies. In fact, I've never met a woman who didn't get put off by strong cologne. Guys, tread very, very lightly, if at all.

Skip cologne and aftershave. Lots of women are allergic and many consider it don Johnson ish

Yes, like I said, most skip it and for good reason. I am only advocating for a little bit very occasionally, none of us want to suffocate!
