S/O: Mercedes Drivers -- Are they especially obnoxious drivers?

| There was a long thread here recently about how BMW drivers are terrible, and I maintain that Mercedes drivers are much worse. Bad, but not in aggressive, I'm-going-to-cut-you-off-but-then-get-out-of-your-way way, but in the I'm-going-to-make-a-14-point-turn-on-this-super-narrow-street-and-I-don't-care-how-many-people-are-inconvenienced way. |

Yup. BMWs are purposely aggressive while Mercedes drivers simply don't have a clue how to drive... |

| Mercedes drivers are always assholes. I have always wanted a MB and now that I can afford one, I would never buy one for this particular reason. |

Interesting. I hadn't noticed this about Mercedes drivers. BMW drivers, yes, obviously, they are complete asses. But not Mercedes.
Don't get me started on Prius drivers... |

| I went from owning a Volvo that I bought used and 8 years old when purchased to buying a Mercedes that was 2 years old. The way I drive didn't change. Except that I know people think all sorts of terrible things about me just because I now own a Mercedes, so I am always extra nice. |

| Whenever I see a Mercedes in front of me, I know it's moving at 25 mph because the driver is in his/her 60-70s. I've always wondered why most of the Mercedeses and convertibles in this area are driven by old people. |

Love my new Mercedes but have to admit it makes me feel like I need a membership at a country club now, too.
Even so, prefer it to riding Metro and having to be around smelly people and inane, chatty types who don't know how to leave work at the office. |
