Food court at Wegman's?

What do you like from the food court at the Germantown Wegman's? I've seen sushi, Indian, Italian, pizza, subs... ?

Is the store still very crowded? I would like to go there, but don't want to battle for parking spots.

Almost everything. The vegetarian bar is pretty good, sushi is very good

I was not impressed at all with the Indian food. It seemed very dried out. I did go towards the end of the day, so it could have been sitting for a while...but they should have thrown it out rather than still selling it, if that was the case.

Salad bar is good. So was the New England clam chowder.

Love the vegetarian bar - coconut cream kale is great!

Pizza isn't good. Sushi and cake are good.

OP here, just to report back. Pizza looks good and is huge, but really not tasty. Indian lamb was good. Asian pot stickers and shrimp purses were good.

Thanks for the suggestions too, have more to try for next time.

Still really crowded, unfortunately.

I like their wraps, and my husband loves their subs.

Yeah, the Indian food is not very flavorful and too salty. Sushi is quite good though.

The sushi is good. Also like some of the Chinese and Thai.

chicken finger sub, hot (wing sauce)

I LOVE their subs. Over the summer I'd frequently stop in and get a 7 inch one to take to the pool for lunch. Their sushi is also pretty good.

Pros- The environment and variety of choice is a pleasure. Cons- Sold by weight, so it's expensive for a little box of food. And the food bar entrees taste over-salted. Wegmans should consider less sodium in their recipes. Montgomery County is health-conscious. We don't need that much salt. Their sushi seems Americanized... More bland than local Japanese sushi bars.

Do not expect good indian food outside of an indian home or good indian restaurant.
