I have the old time faves, but would like some jazzy versions, rock versions etc., that I can groove to.

I finally bought the "Christmas with Boney M" CD last year after hoping to find Mary's Boy Child on a compilation forever and not finding it. Mostly classic songs with a reggae twist.

I like the cd with the cats meowing xmas tunes. My toddler goes giddy when I play it.

Also Starbucks puts together a rather hip xmas cd each year.

OMG I have to get this for my kids...they sing EVERYTHING in "meow." Too funny.

I'll def. check out the reggae, but the Starbucks I go to never has music anymore! so weird!

Vince Guaraldi's Peanuts Christmas-might not be the exact title but is pleasing to adults and kids alike-I particularly like to use it as background music for holiday get togethers.

I refuse to give into the Holiday Spirit and all that jazz until we dust off my copy of Merry Axemas. Its a compilation of instrumental guitar covers of Christmas songs by famous guitarists. I had no idea Richie Sambora was *that* good until I heard his O Holy Night.

There's a vol 2, but I heard it wasn't as good as the first so I never bothered to pick it up.

Maybe check out Itunes or Rhapsody and listen to the compilations. You can sample the songs and buy what you like online or on cd in a store.

"A Very Special Christmas" Compilations - 5 or so editions with artwork by Keith Haring on the cover. They're great!

Good Christmas music is an oxymoron in my opinion. Except maybe Merry XXXing Christmas by South Park.

Good jazzy Christmas album: Bette Midler's Cool Yule. Also love the Elf soundtrack.
