| Are there some nice but family friendly places to eat in Alexandria? We have to travel there with 3 generations for a sports game and want to eat out afterwards. |
| Where in alexandria...it's huge. Old town...try Chadwick's. |
| Mango Mikes is good for kids. West End, though. On Duke Street. |
| Nandos in Old Town is nice. |
| Los Tios in Del Ray is good too. |
| Teaism by the Trader Joe's is fairly family friendly. |
| House of Dynasty is a really nice restaurant with great chinese food. |
Followed by a stop at Dairy Godmother! Almost everything in Del Ray is pretty kid friendly actually. Del Ray Pizzeria, Holy Cow (burgers), Pork Barrel (bbq), Cafe Del Ray. |
Except for that new sushi restaurant that recently opened and has bannded kids, lol |
| tJ Stones on Montgomery |
That's why I said "almost" |
| Chart House |
| Tj Stones or Rustico are my favorites with kids since they have kids menus and there's plenty of ambient noise if my kid gets a little too excited while ordering her food. Apparently being able to tell the server what you want all by yourself is REALLY exciting to her at age 3. |
| Ramparts- simple,good food. |
|
I could see Rustico being good for kids though I have never attempted it myself.
I would recommend Chadwick's, Los Tios, Del Ray Pizzeria, or one of the pizza places in Old Town like Faccia Luna. For a big group, I think the best of the bunch would be Chadwick's, Tios or Rustico (call ahead for Rustico and Chadwick's). |
