Dinner out with Kids in Alexandria

Anonymous
Are there some nice but family friendly places to eat in Alexandria? We have to travel there with 3 generations for a sports game and want to eat out afterwards.

Mango Mikes is good for kids. West End, though. On Duke Street.

Nandos in Old Town is nice.

Followed by a stop at Dairy Godmother!

Almost everything in Del Ray is pretty kid friendly actually. Del Ray Pizzeria, Holy Cow (burgers), Pork Barrel (bbq), Cafe Del Ray.

Tj Stones or Rustico are my favorites with kids since they have kids menus and there's plenty of ambient noise if my kid gets a little too excited while ordering her food. Apparently being able to tell the server what you want all by yourself is REALLY exciting to her at age 3.

I could see Rustico being good for kids though I have never attempted it myself.

I would recommend Chadwick's, Los Tios, Del Ray Pizzeria, or one of the pizza places in Old Town like Faccia Luna.

For a big group, I think the best of the bunch would be Chadwick's, Tios or Rustico (call ahead for Rustico and Chadwick's).
