How can I reduce my mortgage?

If you can't refi, see if you can do the biweekly thing where they take half a months payment out of each check. You don't have half a payment looming to spend itself, and you end up making 26 payments which helps

Greater than 30 year terms do exist, but they are pretty rare. You can sometimes roll the costs of the refi in to the mortgage. If you think you won't live in the house for the full term, you could do a balloon payment at the end. There is more risk with that, but maybe it is something you could tolerate.

What is your current rate and how many years have you been paying on your current mortgage?

But OP can't refi if OP's credit is bad, lost a job, is behind on payments, has poor credit rating, etc. Lots of people who got easy mortgages a decade ago can not refi because the new tighter restrictions make them not elligible.

Can you add? This adds a mortgage payment per year. How does that help someone who is having a hard time making a monthly mortgage payment? It helps in the long run but will make it worse in the immediate.
