Any immersion waitlist updates?

Although many seem upset with MCPS, I'm sticking around if we can get into an immersion program. Trying to get a sense for how deep into the waitlist they've gotten this year in order to get a better sense of what to expect next year. Looking at all of the Spanish and French programs. TIA!

We were offered a spot in the 20's last week at Maryvale, which is French. They may move down the line quickly because many families are settled and don't want to move their child partway through the year. Also, many families have enrolled privately which takes away eligibility. You can always call the consortia office to check current waitlist numbers.

(Many on DCUM seem upset with MCPS, certainly. On the other hand, in real life, MCPS enrollment is at a record high.)
