Am I crazy to even consider them??
Love the combat style and was looking for comfy boots for running around with kids in the winter. I'm 33, tall and thin, SAHM. |
You're the wrong demographic now. |
|
Oh I beg to differ, Grandma:

| I was told to grow up when I asked about them hear. I wore them anyways and got a lot of sincere compliments. |

Homophone misuse is my biggest pet peeve, yet I just made an error.
Here* |
| I don't know if they've changed or if some styles are different, but I had a pair of their boots in college and they were HEAVY. |
Google "how to wear Doc Martens" and check out the image results. You absolutely can, OP, and will look sexy and badass doing so
|
| Miley is wearing them in the wrecking ball video. |
| I think they are timeless/ ageless hipster like converse... but maybe I am hopelessly out of date. |
She is SO punk. |
| I'm 37 with 2 kids and have 2 pairs. Standard black and zebra striped. Both are from my college days. I wear them with jeans. I've never had anyone comment either way on them. I also own a pair of converse from my college days. Never considered myself a hipster though. |
I think you will look great especially being tall and thin. I would do skinny jeans, boots and a chunky, long sweater ... or a long tee with a leather jacket.

Ha! |
Well she is! She's fucking awesome. I love how she's fucking shit up, getting all these mommies to get clutch their pearls and tsk tsk over her twerking. Awesome. Thing is, a 32-yo mom isn't, by definition, as cool as Miley. And she's not 20 either. So, no. No Dr Martens for her. |
What is the magical age at which we should ignore fashion trends? |
