I used to live in Georgetown many moons ago, but now I'm in the burbs and am not sure what is around.
Where should we go to lunch today with 3 and 5 year olds who are not super picky. Preferably not too crowded. Thanks! |
Farmer and Fishers Bakers (reservation needed). Serendipity 3. Daily Grill. |
Johnny Rockets. Clyde's. |
Daily grill. There are better food options in Dupont honestly. |
Serendipity is over priced and mediocre at best. $14 for a sundae with 2 scoops of ice cream? No thanks. |
Just a few blocks away (Foggy Bottom): Burger Tap and Shake.
Good Stuff Burgers just opened in G'town as well. |
I love farmers fishers bakers |
*Good Stuff Eatery |
Thanks for the recs! I'm getting hungry already. |
Pain Quotidien is reliable although gets crowded. |
I like to splurge and get desert at Kafe Leopold's. My kids don't like the food there, but they do enjoy Pizza Paradiso. We have had some terrible terrible food and service at Pain Quotidien. |
Pizza Paradiso's staff are good with kids. I also like Tackle Box on M.
|
Is the Tackle Box open again? Haven't been down there in while.
We like the Tombs for old times' sake and the kids like burgers and milkshakes. |
I heard Tackle Box closed. |
By the waterfront, they have a fountain with splashing water. Kids love it. This is between the kayak rental and the restaurants. So maybe just grab take out/sandwich and do a picnic there.
