Kensington Parkwood Elementary School

We've heard good things about Kensington Parkwood but would welcome other people's input. I understand that the principal is fairly new--any comments on her approach? Also, any ideas on how the school responds to kids who are working well above grade level--reading 2-3 years above grade level, for example? Any other possible concerns that we should be asking about when we visit?

We live in the KP school district but our children aren't there yet. I have heard great things about it from my neighbors. The arts integration program is supposed to be rather unique and the kids like it. My SIL is a middle school teacher and says that it is an excellent school in the county. Unfortunately I can't really answer your questions b/c I have no first-hand knowledge. But hopefully someone else will .
