Views on this school for the lower grades?

Lower school is good. The drawback is that you never know what you will get in terms of class size because enrollment varies. Nice families, nice staff.

Take a very very close look at grade numbers and gender distribution, can vary widely and may not be what you need.

OP Here, here is what I have heard. The upper school is great. The lower school has some good aspects and some concerns. One is the number of kids who leave to go other places, so post preschool it becomes a very, very small place with some odd kids. I have also heard morale is a bit low among the teachers. Any other thoughts/input/reactions? TIA.

The lower school used to be St. Francis Episcopal, and a lot of kids left after preschool. Maybe the recent merger with St. Andrews would reverse the trend somewhat.

People leave because they were planning on using it as a preschool only. It sits among VERY good publics, and Norwood is down the road. Also, it changes a lot, but the small classes are an advantage.
