"Selling" an online store

Anonymous
After 7+ years of business my partner and I have decided to shut down our online store. However, we have a beautifully designed site, a web address, some name recognition, a mailing list and probably some inventory. Any ideas about how we might go about finding a buyer?

What is the nature of your business?

Many sell online businesses at Flippa.com

craigslist. Lots of B&M stores get sold that way.

I asked about the nature because if its fashion, deign, etc.....gonig through blogs can be a good way. A friend of mine sold her salon and put the word out through a bunch of beauty blogs.

just get that back, I mean. Also it was a very fun business to run, so I would like to think someone could take the existing structures and run with their own ideas.

I would be interested! I've thought of doing something like this for ages and have never gotten my act together. Do you have an email address I can contact you at?

Hope you consult a tax adviser.

I would be very interested too OP. I have also tried to do something similar. Was your business successful? Do you still have stock that can be acquired etc. Would love to talk about it.

Thanks
