I think the NFL is disgusting and I’m so grateful that after being force fed it my entire childhood I have never watched a single game intentionally in the 35 years since I left home. It’s all the worst of male culture and while I’m no big fan of Swift, I was disappointed to see her getting involved with an NFL player and becoming the typical brainless female NFL fan.

What I’ve seen of the headlines about tonight’s game is sickening; will Swift stay in a relationship with a violent hothead who physically attacks an elderly man? The narrative that it’s okay because he’s the coach and the player is pumped in the midst of the big game does nothing for me but to highlight how the NFL normalizes male violence in our culture.

Shame on you, Taylor Swift. What kind of empowered woman chooses a violent brainless man for a life partner?
