how do i figure the weight watchers points?

for things like the salad bar at work? or the buffet style lunches at work? for example, WW doesn't have "chicken nuggets" as an option.

Sure they do. Look on their website -- you may have to approxmate using a brand name.

For salad, you have to count up the points of the individual non veg things you put on, and allow for salad dressing, You might want to bring your own so you can measure it beforehand, at least at first until you get a feel for how much 2 TB (or whatever you calculate) really is.
