School cheese pizza- ok or to be avoided at all costs?

Just wondering. I always send my daughter's lunch but am curious how edible the pizza is.

If its anything like what I had as a child in Florida in the 80s, all I can say is YUM.

It's not very good cheese pizza. Kids love it. Whatever. It's fine.

I am sure it's edible. It would be a scandal if children all got sick. What a curious post.

My kids hate it. they always bring lunch on Friday so they don't have to eat it.

It's edible, but my son doesn't like it. Why not let her try it to see if she likes it?

Mine too. He loves frozen pizza, but won't eat what they serve at school.

Biggest cafeteria day at my school. Kids love it

If your kid is typically picky -- then no, they probably won't like it. If your kid is flexible on what they eat -- then hooray -- Friday is pizza day at school. Unfortunately, mine are the former.

The round individual pizzas are better than the square slices.

School cheese pizza is made of people.

My kids eat anything.

They can't stomach the fcps cheese pizza, or taco meat on tortilla rounds, or spaghetti. Really, the only fcps lunch they like is breakfast for lunch and the turkey sandwiches.

If my kids can't eat it, the stuff must be really vile.

It's SCHOOL CHEESE PIZZA! Nearly every kid loves it! Let them eat it, let them be kids! Geeeesh!

My kid always ate the pizza til they changed the receipe, now he won't touch it (and he loves all other pizza). He then opted for the Friday alternative - the fish sandwhich which just like the pizza they changed to make it healthier. Now he won't eat that either. FCPS needs to realize that healthier is only good if it is edible - if no one is eating it the benefits don't exist.
