What can I do with my degrees and experiences in pharma...

At a career fork in the road and would appreciate any insight from people with knowledge of pharma.

My experience:
Experience working as a marketing manager
Graduated from two top science schools (BS, unfinished PhD)
Worked in research abroad (Asia)
Worked 1+yr in pharma sales

I'd like to be on the marketing / business strategy side of a pharmaceutical company, but feel I lack the experience for most positions I see posted. What are the foot-in-the-door positions?

Also submit your resume to pharma consulting companies. This will get your foot in the door and experience. You will be an hourly consultant to pharma and research orgs. Aerotek is one off of the top of my head.

CROs that work in the area - Covance, Quintiles, Westat, Advanced Clinical, etc
