| Do you tip for carry out? |
| I sometimes round up to the nearest dollar plus one, because of all the packaging they had to do, but not always. |
. For pizza? |
| No, I don't. If I go get my own meal, I'm not tipping. It's out of control |
|
2 bucks, give or take -- except for pizza joints. Pizza from an Italian restaurant take out, though, I will tip on.

+1 |
| Yes, someone has to get it together, bring it to the front and ring it up. I usually give 10-15%. I never tip for carry out at the Cheesecake Factory though since they always mess up my order. |
| No. We only tip for pizza delivery. |
| No. I tip for service. If you bring it to my table, tip. If you drive it to my house, tip. If I do the driving, and the picking up, and the serving, and all I'm doing is paying at a counter for you to hand it over, no tip. |
Agree, but somehow I still feel guilty about it. |

When you carry out yourself? Or do you mean when you order carry out and they deliver ?
when you take out yourself, you don't need to tip. When they deliver, it's polite to give tips. |
I agree for pizza in a box, but when I order a bunch of things that have to be put in containers, wrapped up in foil, bags or whatever then put in a larger bag that you can carry out, I feel they need the buck or two more than I do. |
