So you think she was putting up fake posts to respond to with info about her daycare? If so, I will NOT enroll my DC. |

There was some pretty flagrant sock puppeting in regard to that daycare. The founder says it was her husband and apologized. The first post to which you linked is not sock puppeted and, since the founder identified herself, I have no problem with her post. The second post to which you link does not involve the founder at all. The second post in that thread links to a report of the past sock puppeting. As the previous poster says, the founder appears to have reformed her ways. |

Yeah, it seemed hard to believe that it was a genuine post. I'm so disappointed because the facility itself looked good. But obviously, dishonesty is HUGE RED FLAG. HELLLLOOOOOOO....... |

Hi Jeff, does the last message in this thread count as sock puppeting? It looks like it's the founder again and although she is logged in, she doesn't mention that she herself runs a reggio school....

| If the possibility of there being a sock puppet in a thread pertaining to a school you are considering for your child concerns you, you should consider yourself lucky. And no, I am not talking about the school -- not at all -- never heard of it. It's the fact that someone would be concerned about the possibility of someone sock-puppeting a school she is considering. Just so I'm clear. |

I'm concerned about it, too. If there is one thing I've learned about choosing childcare, it's to watch out for red flags and take them seriously early on. In my book, LYING is a red flag. The fact that the owner would have no problem pretending to be a poster and then answer her own post -- sorry, it's dishonest and in my book a red flag. I would not enroll my kid there. (And yes, I was interested in the "center" but now i'm not.)
