-St. James (use to be girls club, inherited barca)
-Loudoun (has struggled with NVA, some kids left to play ECNL so they can play HS, opened up spots for RL players from Loudoun, weakening Loudoun's academy team)
-SYC and Alexandria (legit comp)
-Rush (not a top 5 team in that area, dominated by beachfc)
-FC Richmond (Same as rush, Richmond United dominates that area)
-McLean - not competitive

-Rush (not a top 5 team in that area, dominated by beachfc)
-FC Richmond (Same as rush, Richmond United dominates that area)
-McLean - not competitive

And here it come....they don't make their own scheules....they did well playing this schedule...could they have done better at Next Fest and MLS national; yes but it is their first year at this level...it is worth watching them as they grow.

explain how 2009s went? They didnt win in VA playoffs and were not in first place.

lol.. the 2009s were in showcase.. fake advertising by VRSC for salt lake. not same thing. And they lost all there games.

It's a good thing we don't participate or partake in gossip, office politics, who said what to who, and elementary school behavior, we just focus on soccer. Seems to working great for us too. I recommend the same for you.

You pay $5k for an Eastern European dude with limited English and overrated soccer background and more importantly, knowledge, to yell nonsense weekend in and weekend out and your child still has the same if not worse level than what they started with. Plus, you have to pay flights and hotel and other stupidity for the experience. All the while my kids are in a genuine football club in Western Europe with a real director who makes a modest living with transparent training credentialing and experience.

If your normal league schedule isn't up to snuff, you are paying to get thrashed at any national event. Regional teams don't play at the speed and intensity as the top MLS or ECNL teams do so ya'll are just wasting your money. They dangled the carrot and took your money.

I’m convinced in this thread it’s only the ex-VRSC coach trashing this club. I get it, I’ve had some crappy jobs in the past, but man, move on. You had your chance to voice your opinion to your then leadership and didn’t.

Those of us with any sense of objectivity can see through the haters and those who just like to be the pot stirrer. Lot of truth and lot of negativity on this forum, we just have to see the hateful comments for what they really are. dude it was a club started because of kid not making a loudoun team.

Heres what club is…… Expensive fees and it’s reputation is kids who couldnt make the other top teams in area. They play kickball and don’t produce top tier soccer players. But enjoy that beer while you watch your kid stagnate

One thing you got right is that they dont produce top tier players. Its not expensive and they dont play kickball. Maybe a particular team does but its not all the teams.
