Democrats need to start a public campaign to freeze all contracts to SpaceX, Tesla, X, as long as Musk is CEO. Those contracts could not withstand public scrutiny. SpaceX has a $4.4 billion NASA contract to develop the Human Landing System for moon missions, and once developed would get billions of dollars more for the actual missions. NASA won’t publish a long-term cost estimate for the Artemis III program because it would be an indefensible amount. Meanwhile NASA is funding all of SpaceX’s technology development that Musk intends to use to offer private space flights for ridiculous prices. Why do we need to spend $50 Billion or whatever it is to walk on the moon again?
