It is so crazy to me to think that my kid (who is a 28 and not a dummy or born to dummy parents) could be considered a 29. He's 6' tall and 165lbs. What bizarre sport lacrosse is with such bizarre parents.

It’s not lacrosse it’s all youth sports. What happens in the lacrosse pales in comparison to basketball and baseball. You’re incredibly naive to think it’s only lacrosse. The truth is that there is tremendous advantage to being older that’s why college quarterbacks are getting older and older.

The real question is will being a hold back help the kid being held back. I suspect the answer is rarely but what do i know

The top basketball if anything reclasses up a year more often so they can get a shot at the league earlier. Sounds like you're incredibly naive.

With the summer NL had almost anyone could be a difference maker. But in all seriousness the ML 28 teams are breaking up again.

It was hard to tell with their half field scrimmages at the end. They really needed to have a full field scimmmage/game to get a better idea.

even in half-field, if the Madlax players are not standing out, then they are not going to make the NL team better. Remember that NL is already substantially better than ML and there are only a handful of players on the ML roster that NL would want. It sounds like the new players will pad the NextLevel roster more than it is already, and beef up the Red (B) team, either directly or indirectly.

the title of this thread is very apt - NextLevel will continue to be bloated, and Madlax will have to reload and replenish its roster once again. you can say what you want about the people who run these programs, but I feel bad for the boys and their families who are trying to find a good lacrosse experience. it shouldn't be this hard.

Op here. Totally agree with the above sentiment. The same problems with the 28 class has continued all year DCE and NL are oversubscribed and madlax is a sick man wandering around lax tournaments. We need True nova and VLC to put out quality teams to alleviate this situation.
