I guess my unpopular opinion is that once upon a time, her stuff was really fun - when her show got started, I don't remember seeing a lot of other houses that looked like hers, even though hers all looked the same as each other. It's just now, everyone's doing what she does, and it looks so boring and overdone.

-1. I am bi-racial and will never forget how awesome it was to see the Cheerios commercial with a a mixed family. That lasted about 24 hours until the rage of the public that slandered freakin Cheerios. I don’t understand how something like that can be forced but seeing two black actors or two white actors doesn’t seem forced. I guess it’s true, people really do see color (even if they’re in a bi-racial marriage).

But when almost every ad features a black/white couple, it does seem forced. This represents only a small percentage of marriages in this country. Commercials featuring white/Asian marriages would be more representative.
