| We are looking at a trip to the Homestead/Greenbrier/Nemacolin etc. during the week of Christmas. Toying with how long to stay. I want to stay longer than just a weekend but setting up camp for a week at a resort feels odd - I feel like people don't really stay that long at those places. If budget weren't a huge consideration, what's a good length of time to stay, relax, do some of the activities there (we have two kids under 4), etc., without getting bored and/or feeling like we are "overstaying?"? 4 days? 5 days? Thanks! |
| 4 days, 3 nights max there is a lot to do, but it will get stale. also, consider that the special events/activities are usually held on the 3-4 days around the holiday. it can be a bit less fun at those places without the free magic shows, movies, balloon art, whatever to fill the gap. although - you can certainly pay for additional activites! |
