WISC-IV - what is it?

Dear Anyone!

Please help! We are moving to Washington,DC area and will send our kids to private schools. As a part of the process, the kids need to take the WISC-IV. I can't get much information despite various internet search. Does anyone have any information on how to prepare for this test? Any website, etc.? Please help!

I think there are several threads on this, so you might want to search for WISC and check those out.

I know it is frustrating to hear. But you can't (or shouldn't) prepare for the test. If you were to prepare your child (if you knew some of the elements of the test), you would be invalidating the results. That is why there is such secrecy surrounding it.

Best advise is to make sure the child sleeps well the night before and eats a good breakfast.
