Did you notice that Stevens has apparently lost his Senate seat (http://www.nytimes.com/2008/11/19/us/politics/19cong.html?hp), so there will be no open seat for Palin to run for. |
She said she was waiting to see if God opened the door for her. I guess he slammed it in her face instead. |
I think she's not going to get very far. Oil and natural gas prices have gone down. She was using the tax revenue to cut dividend checks to the people. But now those checks are going to dwindle. And if they don't get the natural gas revenue up and running, they will have to go to a state income tax.

She's getting a $7M book deal. Ugh, just writing that makes me want to vomit. Anyway, she'll be able to pay off the voters in AK. (It's the way things r dun up there, aparantly.) That lucky, ignorant bitch. |
This gratuitous insult manages to slam both Governor Palin and the entire state of Alaska. You must have worked hard at both the subliteracy and the insult. The irony of you calling Palin "ignorant" is delicious, though. Thank you! With her $7 million book deal, of course, Governor Palin is having the last laugh. |
First of all, "subliteracy" is not a word. Second, you failed to see the humor in PP's line - "It's the way things r dun up there, aparantly." PP is making fun of Palin and her "subliteracy." Third, thanks for proving how ignorant you are by your statement - "With her $7 million book deal, of course, Governor Palin is having the last laugh." $7 million would be better spent on a literacy program. Enjoy reading her book in an effort to to make Palin even wealthier. good beach reading, by the way . . . |
Why the endless fascination with Palin? I truly believe that if Palin were a man, people would be over him by now. Sexism is the last "ism" to be overcome, I'm afraid. |
I forgot to add... "bitch" is as offensive to women as any other derogatory remark aimed at a particular racial, religious, or ethnic group. |
Subliterate is indeed a word, my dear. But I wasn't laughing at the text speak. More at the two misspellings in apparently. Sorry, I meant 'aparantly." Also the use of "bitch," which is, as 8:14 said, demeaning to all women. It's certainly not a convincing word, but it's definitely a catty one.
I have no interest in reading Palin's book. As a Democrat, though, I'm self-aware enough to admit that she's the one having the last laugh. |
not for long.... ![]() |
Oh, I cannot wait to read that book - borrowed from a library of course. I am assuming that it will be ghost written but still. |
Not the brightest bulb on the tree, are we poster? Ya know, I'm trying to be all folksy and such, since that's how you Palinistas role. |
I know I should be happy because the new Senator supports DC voting rights (yay!) but I've gotten addicted to the soap opera that is Sarah Palin and part of me was hoping to see it continue. |
The snide response manages to slam both the recipient and the author. You must have worked hard at both the arrogance and the pomposity. The irony of finding a gleeful Palin supporter on this board is hilarious, though. Of course, we are ALL laughing. |
