Not sure whether this is the appropriate forum for my question, but I'm looking to start a lifestyle-related website and am in need to a good web developer, preferably local. Does anyone have any recommendations? Would love a creative, modern, sleek look and feel. Need a true developer, not just a designer.

Alternatively, can you name a website for a local business that you think was done particularly well?
