We just moved to a home just North of Kentlands. Any good take out places around? (We love all types of food!)
TIA! |
|
Pacifica is okay. So is Yoyogi Sushi.
But the area is not known for its food. |
| Mobys kabob is righteous!! |
|
Caspian Kabob is also decent, but I prefer Johny's Kabob in Germantown if you don't mind a drive.
Guisseppi's (sp) pizza at Kentlands as decent salads - grilled chicken is good. Their pizza crust is good but their sauce is a little bitter to me (still better than delivery around here). Thai Tanium is pretty good and if you use their web site there is a coupon code for 15% off. |

Thaitanium
Hakuba- sushi Vasilis -Greek |
| Indian- Tandoori Nights |
| Love Thai Tanium! |

Since you ask about take out, for sandwiches I'd suggest Jersey Mike's.
Really really good Italian subs and turkey too! All meat is sliced right at time you order (so fresh!) and the bread wonderful. DH drove up from Bethesda last night just for the Italian (he works near the Kentlands so a favorite lunch run area). Also like the Coal Fire Pizza if you are in to thin crunchy crust. Toppings mmmmm. Moby Dick. |
| Batik - pan Asian |
| I get the family size salads from bucca. |
| I absolutely LOVE Moby Dick!!!!!! |
| OP here checking back. Thanks for the responses! Batik was great and next we are going to try Thai Tanium. |
|
NP here - PP thanks for the rec on Coal Fire. We all sparkly heart thin crust pizza and have been hesitant to try a new place.
a 2nd on Batik - never had take out, but love their dumplings etc. I always worried how the dumplings would survive the ride home, though. |

For Dessert try Hot breads - Chocolate bomb !!!
They have decent snacks but their pastries are awesome. |
