I am surprised to see someone post about a school with 20 trailers! That is nuts!

Rosemary Hills has 7 trailers. That's about 175 kids out of 650?
27% in Trailers.

Next . . .

K-12 only, please.

What's wrong with trailers?

If you want fewer kids in trailers, lobby the state for more money for school construction.

Rock Creek Forest is in a holding school at the Radnor Center while the school building is being torn down and rebuilt. Because the Radnor Center is so small, only the Kindergartners and First Graders are in the actual building. 2 through 5 are all in trailers, there are 20 of them! There's hardly any outdoor space left.

Rock Creek Valley has 4 or 5 trailers. I think 2 second grade classes and 2 third grade classes are in trailers.
Not sure of the total enrollment at the school.

Funny you say that. There was a report last week saying that this area is the 5th safest in the country for natuaral disasters. Specifically bethesda

What? Didn't you hear? It's a proven fact: Trailers impede the ability to learn. Not.

This school system is just experiencing massive growth, and they have no control over how many kids enroll, and this is how they accommodate it. They just can't build a new school every time each school goes over capacity.

If you are interested - you can find out which schools are overcrowded and which are slated to be renovated and expanded.

K-12 only?

What else is there?

Are you referring to pre-K? b/c they don't count?

Why not make it your mission to drive around the county and count? I'd suggest Schools at a Glance, but the data is a year old.
