| We like the cakes from Stella Bakery in Rockville. They are light and not too sweet. They also have a nice selection of pastries. |
| Stella!!! |
| Les Delices on East Gude Drive in Rockville. They made our wedding cake, and our kids' baptism cakes. |
| I like Stella. My favorite cake in the area is the napoleon cake from Patisserie Poupon. Devine! |
| Jenny Cakes in Kensington has fantastic cupcakes. I bet her regular cakes are just as great. |
| Praline |
| Coconut cake from Baked and Wired in DC. I know you said MoCo., but this cake is to die for! It really is!!! |
I have found their cakes to be very dry. Maybe I just hit a bad day. |

Stella used to be my best until I found Tout De Sweet. |

Maria's Bakery, Rockville. Hong Kong style cakes. Sponge cake with creamy frosting with or without fruits inside. Not very sweet. Very good. The bakery is also a cafe. You can get mini size cakes. The big cakes tastes the same.
Also, Korean cakes are good too. Find at Korean stores. |
+1 Honestly, the best birthday cake we had was a half sheet cake from Giant. (I like the staff at JennyCakes, but I find the cupcakes a little dry.) |
| Custom Cake Design in Gaithersburg. It depends on what kind of cake you're looking for, but I've gotten a few quarter and half sheet cakes from there for work events and they were wonderful. |
