I am going to the hairdresser's in a few days to get a professional color done, this is a treat since I usually do it myself. I want to do something nice for myself. I like the Ombre look. Esp. Kloe Kardashian's hair....I wish I had her stylist's contact info. LOL.
However, I have many friends who say this hair color is so last yr. Your thoughts? |

You mean the grown-out roots look? LOL!
Make sure you get some glaring white french tips with that. Maybe a nice spray tan, too. Go dark. You can never be too "tan". |
| Out. |
|
Just go get it right now, OP.
|
| It always looked stupid. |
| I don't think it's a matter of it being in or out. I had this type of hair (not as severe as Kardashian though) when I moved here from LA. I tried to find a colorist who could maintain my color but no one knew how to do it correctly. I just don't think that this type of trend is as on trend here in DC. I'd be wary unless you have someone who has great color technique. Otherwise you could end up looking like your preschooler dipped the end of your hair in color himself. And that is definitely out. |
agree |
| in a few years ago, out since they started selling ombre in a box. |
| Back in the olden days, we called this look "roots," and we only did it on purpose to look like Madonna. Also, get off my lawn. |
I heart you. |
| Sorry OP this was "in" two years ago an started to fade last year its on its way out and if you haven't been wearing it the whole time your going to look silly trying to pull it off now. |
| If it's not out, it should be. Please? |
| Sure, and after you get the ombré hair color, stop by your favorite dress shop and pick up a mullet dress. |
| Ok, don't be mean to her, she's just asking! |
| I think it's pretty. Who cares if it's viewed as in or out if you like it and it suits you? |
