| Is it possible to layer low VOC paint on top on existing paint (a few days old) to get rid of the chemicals and smell? |

| I'd guess you would need the current paint to cure before coating it with another type of paint. You might want to go to a paint store (not big box) and ask. |

| No, the smell is the paint curing. I would also be worried about the current paint not being dry enough and then everything peeling. |
