Annunciation Catholic School

Anonymous
Does anyone have first hand information on Annunciation Catholic School on Klingle Place, NW? I am looking into it for Pre-K for my son. It strikes me a long standing, well-respected school...but not elite.

I don't know anyone there anymore. Two of our friends really liked it there but left because the class size was very, very small. Too small to support things like sports teams, activities, etc.

You should check, but I thought they were becoming a public charter...

Annunciation is not a part of the group of Catholic Schools that became Public charter

from the post:
The schools, with a total projected enrollment estimated at 600 to 1,000 students, are Assumption and Holy Comforter-St. Cyprian in Southeast; Holy Name and St. Francis de Sales in Northeast; and Immaculate Conception, Nativity Catholic Academy and St. Gabriel in Northwest.

Children on our block attended the school several years ago and seemed very happy. I believe they went on to the Cathedral schools. HTH

They are more diverse than other area Catholic schools and their tuition is a bit higher. I don't know the size of the student body but I've never heard of anyone not getting in like at Blessed Sacrament. I think Our Lady of Victory and Little Flower are more well known in the area though.
