So I bought the Magic Bullet 3 months ago basically just for smoothies - well it has stopped working because the bottom spinny thing has been completely rundown and won't catch anymore. I hate the idea of investing in a better machine (Ninja? Vitamix?) and have the same thing happen. The smoothies I make use some ice and mostly frozen fruits and vegetables - am I doing something wrong?
It is a cheap household item sold on tv. What did you expect?
A Vitamix will not break from daily smoothie-making. And if it did, they would replace it.
Did it come with a warranty?
Ha. I didn't expect this thread to be about a smoothie maker...
I thought this was a vibrator, and then I saw it was in the food forum.
If you got it at bed bath and beyond you can return it and they will give you a new one.
Vitamix has a 7-year warranty. It will handle smoothies effortlessly. Costco often has specials on the Vitamix and Blendtecs, which can cost substantially less than other places.
Ha! I did too! |
