Another request for a books thread.

Jeff -- I understand that you have previously considered and decided against having a "books" thread. Here's another request. Book recommendations, to my mind, are one of the best things about the forum. I really dislike wading through all the off-topic posts to find them, and the search feature is difficult to use because the threads don't always use the same words (e.g., non-fiction, fiction, book, best read, memoir, etc.).

I understand if Jeff doesn't want to do this, but I'll second the request. I have also had a hard time finding the correct search terms for specific recommendations that I recall.

I would like to do this, but moving messages into after creating the forum will take time. So, I'm just waiting to find that time.
