Just want to know if any PAC parents have their little one ride the bus and what the experience has been like

Yes, from age three on. He loved it. The first week I was nervous, but we never had a problem.

Yes. From the age of 3. Door to door service was great. No problems.

We have not, but only because we have to drop off another kid at a different preschool and the scheduling doesn't work out. However, lot of our DD's friends ride the bus and love it - the drivers, bus aides, and teachers do a really good job and take great care of everyone. If our schedule was different and we could be at home when the bus came, we'd totally send her on the bus.

Yes, he's been riding it since he was 3. ABsolutely loves it. It also keeps him organized, gets him into a mindset, "Ok, I am now going to school, let's get my act together"

Yes. Our DS was about 2.5 when he started riding the bus. At first, he didn't like it much but he also didn't like going to preschool at first either. Once he got used to it, he loved it, the driver and the aide very very much.

Mine was 3 when he started on the bus. I was so anxious to have him do so at first. He loved it and the drivers and aides on board are some of the most wonderful people.

thanks OP here, is it the big yellow bus?
Anonymous
yes, from the age of 2. I had a hard time being convinced that it was ok. I followed the bus to school for a week. In the end it was a great part of the day and I am very glad we did it!

op here thanks everyone I feel better perhaps I too will follow the bus the first week. Also I have a question after school did your little one come home or did they go to after care, if they did go to aftercare which daycare did you use?

We chose not to overload our DS with too many daycares and decided on a nanny share. We are extremely fortunate to have a child in our building who attends 1st grade in DS' school. They like each other and have no problem hanging out together until we get home around 5 PM.
