when did you set-up registry?

I am four month along and people have already started asking me when I am going to register. I have in mind much of what I'll register but it seemed funny to go ahead and do it (and let people know)! Maybe it isn't too early, though.

When did you provide people the info. on where you registered?

I set mine up around 5 months and told people pretty much right away. My parent's friends started asking early!

I did around 5 months too - mainly to help me get organized and "see" what I'll need and/or would like to have. I just looked at a friend's registry and basically copied it over to mine, then have been tailoring it as I read or see new items, or hear negative things about other items.

I know I won't be given everything, but I was told to register anyway because you get a completion coupon at the end for any final stuff you want to buy.

I had it done around 6 months. My "deadline" was to have it set up by the time I knew the baby shower invitations were being sent out.
