Friend said that she drug tests her nanny and housekeeper every monday morning. Is this even legal?
Do you drug test your help? |
Herself? What an involved person! My butler sees to it. |
Are you trolling? |
EVERY Monday morning? I kind of understand for a nanny or live in type situation doing a drug test upon hiring them - lots of businesses do this anyway. But weekly? Major trust issues going on here. |
No, I am not. I kinda thought my friend was trolling us (group of friends out to dinner last night). She said that she wants to know that her household help is not using drugs so she tests them regularly. She then told us that regularly was weekly, every mon morning to be exact. |
I don't have household help, but I know several nannies/sitters who are stoners so this isn't a bad idea. |
I test only the chauffeur and governess, for obvious reasons. The housekeeper and cook I don't. |
No, but my nanny drug tests me. Helps me stay off my usual cocktail of Xanax, Oxycodone, and gin. She's to call CPS stat if I don't pass. |
Drug testing is expensive. |
Don't believe the crap. If anything, the woman say whatever it takes to get your attention. |
Will say |
I've been working in people's homes full time for more than a decade. Drug tests in that time : 0. |
Me to. In fact I've never even heard of such nonsense. |
If they sign off on it it's legal. It's required in certain jobs and IMO childcare should be one of them |
And eldercare, don't you think? |
