Does anyone have a good (i.e. tried and tested) Champagne punch recipe? I've never had it before but I'd like to make some for a bridal shower this weekend. There are so many variations on the internet and I'm having a hard time deciding which one to use.
I'd like to incorporate some kind of red base (cranberry/raspberry/strawberry) so that I end up with a pink punch to go along with the theme. TIA! |

Sorry, wish I could help.
Whatever you do, though, don't use real Champagne. In a punch, it's a waste of money--you won't be able to tell. A cava like Freixenet or Cristalino, or any prosecco in the $6-$9 range, is good enough. |
| I don't remember the exact recipe I used, but I made a great champagne punch with frozen pink lemonade concentrate. Was very subtly pink and quite delicious. The fact that it was already frozen meant I did not need to use ice to cool it down. |
instead of punch, (or in addition to) try "pointsettias" ...they're mimossas with cranberry (or cran strawberry or whatever) Crisp and refreshing
