You could purchase a plan in an exchange, and it will likely be cheaper than an employer-based COBRA plan. COBRA, at the very least, charges 2% on top of full premiums as an administrative charge.
When purchasing in an exchange, you could also benefit from sliding scale subsidies based on your income. |
