Will I be entitled to obamacare if I have cobra as an option?

Cobra is so expensive, hoping I don't have to go that route.

There is no "Obamacare" insurance policy. Are you talking about Medicaid?

You could purchase a plan in an exchange, and it will likely be cheaper than an employer-based COBRA plan. COBRA, at the very least, charges 2% on top of full premiums as an administrative charge.

When purchasing in an exchange, you could also benefit from sliding scale subsidies based on your income.

When the exchanges start, you will have two choices:

1. COBRA
2. the exchange
