Changing from full time to part time preschool? WWYD?

Not sure what to do. Last year my dc was at full time preschool, he was fine there but at home just awful to live with. Vacation time he was so much more relaxed and calmer. Happy to be home and just content. Now he has to start again and I'm torn between sending him back to 5 days or cut down to 2 or 3 days. He's 4 so it's his final year before kindergarten. I want him to enjoy his childhood but worried I might be jepodising his education if he just goes 2 days. But its his happiness I value more. I'm a sahm with a toddler too, whom he loves to play with. WWYD?

I would send him 5 days a week, and assess the situation in a month or two. Maybe last year was hard on him with turning 3, seeing a new baby in the house, etc.

What do you mean by full time preschool? 9-3 or 9-6? I would still send him every day (better for routine) but reduce the hours. So if he was going 9 to 6, reduce it to 9 to 3 and see how that goes. If he was going 9 to 3 before, then reduce it to 9-1.
