Where to take tween girls for lunch near Building Museum? (Penn Quarter/Verizon Center)

I know Matchbox would work (we went last year), but would love any other suggestions. Thanks!

Five Guys?

Coco Sala. Tweens would love it.

Or maybe if they are young, you could do the District of Pi? My daughter loves Teaism, but she's younger.

What kind of food do they like?

Coco Sala is a great idea! Also what about Hill Country?

Ping pong dim sum is fun if you like Asian. Hill country, teaism, Vapianos or Ella's pizza are all great.

Hill Country is ok, it's hit or miss as it can be crowded. Food is good, but if you are going to be at the Building Museum, the may have HC on the lawn still. If you do HC, there is a good Gelato place across the street that is a nice dessert.

Rosa Mexicano is another possibility.

Ping Pong is a little bit of a walk (if these are younger end Tweens). Vapianos is just bad food and Ella's is good, but it is the neighborhood place for parents and small kids.

Anyplace on F would really be good for that age group.

Fuel Pizza? Just a pizza-by-the-slice joint, but it's only a block away.

I love Matchbox & Coco Sala.
I thought Ping Pond Dim Sum was putrid.
I like Vapiano's!
I have heard that Ella's Pizza is good.
Also, what about Zengo? (Asian fusion.) I liked it.

Graffiato.

The Shake Shack at the Spy Museum is open. Would they like Zatinya?

You've gotten some good suggestions so far. I'll also throw in Carmine's.

I heard Carmine's was great (just yesterday.)
