It doesn't surprise me at all about Danni and her husband. It's sad that it happened, but definitely saw it coming. As someone said there's only so much you should share. Danni made it sound like husband was completely worthless and uninterested. Is she surprised? To share a lot of negative things about your husband on air? Karma darling. I'm sure the husband got tired of feeling belittled on the air. This is just another reason why I've switched since Kane's announcement on air. No respect for your personal relationships? Again, maybe it's karma happening.

Bigg Slim and I have decided on a trial separation. My postpartum anxiety is a beast and we have been really disconnected. He is a great father and I love him more than words but it's not healthy for me to constantly feel the way that I do. I immensely hope that the paths that we take lead us back together, but even if they don't, our family is priority. We will be amazing friends, and we love each other so much. I ask for nothing but your prayers. I love him, he loves me and our girls...we will all be ok.

whoa I was away for 2 days and came back in time for breaking (although not unexpected) news.
I agree, it was not too surprising with her comments about understanding why someone would cheat, dating herself, etc etc. However... why the need to publicize it? Is that going to make it easier/better? is she going to cry on air too? Sure she is a local "celebrity" but if she hadn't been dropping clues and complaining about him all the time no one would suspect anything.
I don't know... maybe I'm crazy thinking personal business should stay in your personal circle.
Of course, it does make for an entertaining thread for us I guess I feel bad for Slim...

I think Danni and Rose should both leave the show and they should hire Mel back, or just get a female version of John.

1) I don't mind Danni as much as most of you. But I just think she has a lot of shit on her plate and would do better taking time to do whatever it is she wants to do...since she can do it all. So she should just leave so as not to be a Debbie Downer on the show.

2) I never liked Rose. I don't see why she was ever hired - she's a sweet kid. But she doesn't add ANYTHING to the show. The only thing she adds is to Danni's ego. She's Danni 2.0 but boring. I understand John is Kane version 2.0 but at least he's his own person and speaks his mind. It just so happens to be the same mind as Kane.
Rose doesn't have her own mind, its just to agree and love Danni.

Basically - they need to hire both women on the show and hire 1 youngish woman with life experience and her own opinions. I don't like Elizabethany's (EB) voice --- but at least the girl has her own childish opinions that she doesn't care if you like it or not. Maybe they should promote her.

Elizabethany bragged today on Instagram she bought a VW convertible so clearly, 99.5 is paying her well but she does voice tracking on other stations in the US.

Regarding house purchases, I wonder if they bought them or are renting them. There is a HUGE difference.

Rose was probably hired because she is in Tampa and that is where Mel was when she was on 99.5. Kane has a following in Tampa because that was one of his stops before DC.
